PORSCHE BOXSTER

Car and Classic magazine recently tipped the 986 Boxster 2.7 manual to be a great investment. This Boxster really must be one of the finest examples currently available.

 

It has been owned by its' last enthusiast owner since 2007. Throughout this time it has rarely (if ever ?) been out in the rain This cherished example truly deserves the title of "Garage queen" where it has lived under a fitted Porsche car cover (Included in the sale).

 

Specification summary; Lapis blue metallic. Full leather interior (Graphite) Sports seats 19" Sport design alloy wheels. Wind deflector 6 Cd player

 

The last owner also added a full stainless steel "Eisemann"exhaust which has a lovely note and will never rust unlike the standard item. (We have the standard item should you wish to re-fit it in the future)

 

The service history is incredible. It was serviced but Porshe main agents up to 2006 (5 services) and then mostly by a local German car specialist with a further 24 services noted in the service book. Last serviced on 27/3/25 at 61,053m.

 

At 52,645m the car suffered from a slight misfire. The owner who clearly loved the car so much decided to have a full engine rebuild including new liners and also took the very wise opportunity to upgrade the IMS bearing. (Full photographic evidence of this rebuild is supplied with the vehicle)

 

The last owner also bought a long list of items to enhance the vehicle. All the invoices are available but a brief summary includes ; Parrot evolution bluetooth module, Batwing insert for storage console, Additional storage for the boot, Silver speedo surround, Aluminium sports grill, Porsche aluminium valve caps, wind blocker, Cd player, Cd holder, Rear felt screen protector, Fitted overmats etc. etc..

 

It will come as no surprise that this vehicle comes with a huge file of paperwork that would keep the most avid of enthusiasts busy for some time. It incudes invoices for most of the servicing, old Mots and a photographic record of the engine rebuild.

 

There is also an interesting collection of Porsche literature and memorobilia incl.; The original hardback sales brochure, An original 2000 m mdl. year press release pack (incl. glossy photos and something I haven't seen for some time "slides"), Porsche service repair manuals , A Porsche flag etc.. etc..

 

This vehicle is absolutely incredible in every respect and needs to be seen to be appreciated.
