This car has a very interesting past. Originally purchased by a car enthusiast in Birmingham in 2015. It took him almost 2 years to find a car good enough to meet his exacting standards. It then joined his private collection of over 30 vehicles including various other Jaguars, Rolls Royces and Mini's. These were stored in a dehumidified garage ( Actually more like a bungalow, please see photos in the documents section above). The cars only came out on high days or holidays or to go to car shows. and ,most certainly, never in the rain. Upon his death the collection was given to his son and grandson who needless to say were also car enthusiasts. The Xk was, however, one of his wife's favourites and was left directly to her. Unable to drive in recent years she wanted to find a good home for it. Which is where we came in. I was told that after I collected it "a few tears were shed and much reminiscing was done"
