JAGUAR S-TYPE

This stunning Jaguar S Type 3.0 V6 Se Luxury has been owned from new by 1 local gent.   

As the managing director of a major PLC he was fortunate enough to have had a chaufeur driven Daimler for day to day use and wanted something similar for high days and holidays.

An "S" Type was the obvious choice and he purchased this car from his local Jaguar dealer Guy Salmon in Thames Ditton in September 2002. ('03 Model year)

He opted for "Zircon blue" paintwork and this is complemented beautifully by a Dove grey bond leather interior, Granite carpets and Birds eye maple veneers. .

It was  serviced by the supplying dealer Guy Salmon until they closed their doors in 2018 and sold their premises for re-development. A total of 10 services are recorded in the original service book up to 28,818m in 2012. Guy Salmon haven't completed the service book for the additional servicing carried out for the intervening period until they closed in 2018. I do ,however, have a signed letter given to me directly by the owner confirming that the vehicle had been regularly serviced by them until they closed down.  

The Guy Salmon site was re-developed into residential housing and there was no other local Jaguar dealer. The owners daughter found "Moloneys" garage in Shepperton who were happy to collect and deliver the car making life easier for her father who was advancing in years. Despite covering minimal mileage they serviced it 3 times @ 36,210m, 36,337m and finally @ 36,600m.

We were contacted through our affiliation with one of the Jaguar owners clubs and purchased the vehicle directly from its' owner with a mere 37,200m. 

We have just had it serviced by SPM our local Jaguar specialist. In addition to the standard service items , a brake fluid change and replacing the 2 tyres noted on the last MOT they have also replaced a number of the rear suspension components. These hadn't been advised on the last MOT but we felt the car would benefit from their replacement. They noted that it was as "clean underneath as above."

The vehicle has been garaged when not in use. As a result he “Zircon blue” paintwork retains its' original lustre and the sumptuous interior is in fabulous condition and has not been damaged by the sun.

In our letter from the owner he states that "The car has always been a delight to own and will be missed".

This vehicle also benefits from being Ulez compliant.

We have had the pleasure of selling many of these fabulous vehicles although it is becoming increasingly difficult to find cherished, low mileage beautifully maintained examples.

This vehicle undoubtedly ticks those boxes and is now fully prepared to our standards ready for its’ new keeper to enjoy.
