The i3's electric drivetrain is impressively powerful and efficient, allowing for a 0-100kph acceleration time of 8.1 seconds. In fact, it can even match the speed of an E90 M3 up to 60kph. Once you get past the initial acceleration, you can optimise battery usage by anticipating traffic, taking advantage of downhill stretches, and gently pressing the throttle on inclines.

 

The 94Ah battery gives a possible range of up to 125 miles and an additional 81m from the range extender petrol engine giving up to 206 miles with the Range Extender on a single charge.
